The room was a good size, very conformable, all amenities worked well and was relaxing. The quality of the toiletries was good, the shower was excellent. The breakfast had plenty of choice, although the room itself might be crowded in peak periods. The spa was well equipped, good service and clean. the staff were very helpful and friendly and went out of their way to make the stay comfortable, especially the concierge service was excellent and really helped us in securing medication that we needed from a pharmacy 30 mins away.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5) Stayed: October 2025 – Wife’s 40th Birthday We stayed at The Chedi in October 2025 for my wife’s 40th birthday, and overall it was an incredible trip. The Chedi is a truly stunning hotel — elegant, peaceful, and set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Swiss Alps. We stayed in Room 1401, which had spectacular mountain views and a beautifully designed suite 👌. The spa deserves a special mention — especially the outdoor heated pool. Floating in warm water surrounded by crisp mountain air and snow-capped peaks was an unforgettable experience. A few things that could have been better: Before our arrival, I had sent several messages via both Booking.com and the hotel’s own email, trying to arrange some balloons and rose petals in the room as a surprise for my wife’s birthday. Unfortunately, I didn’t receive any replies until I eventually called the hotel myself. The concierge assured me everything would be arranged — but when we arrived, nothing had been done. This was disappointing as the surprise was ruined. I even sent a reminder message the day before, but again received no response. When I called the front desk after check-in, they said they were “just about to bring them up,” but at that point it was too late for the surprise. To their credit, the guest services manager called and sincerely apologized, offering us a complimentary bottle of champagne and a chocolate cake, which was a thoughtful gesture. I understand they were having internet issues at the time, but given I’d reached out the day before, I would have expected better communication from a 5-star hotel. The food across the property was another area that, in my opinion, didn’t quite match the standard of the hotel itself. The dining options were fine, but for a hotel of this caliber, I expected a higher level of culinary excellence. When we first arrived, check-in was delayed due to the internet outage.

Everything was perfect, the rooms are clean, many variety of breakfasts, and the SPA is up normal. Looking forward of my next time visit. Thanks.
